The Living Building Challenge strives for the most advanced measure of sustainability in the built environment possible. Whether your project is a single building or a complete neighborhood, Living Building Challenge provides a framework for design, construction and the symbiotic relationship between people and all aspects of the built environment.

We’ll outline the Challenge’s seven performance areas, and 20 imperatives required for a successful LBC design, look at several projects that have completed their certification review period, and explore a project in the early design phase, an Eco Village in West Marin.

Speakers: James Bill – ZIA (zero impact architecture)
