SUMMARY:Save The Bay at Hal Brown Park
DESCRIPTION:After phenomenal results in past habitat restoration efforts at Santa Venetia Marsh Open Space Preserve and Bothin Marsh Open Space Preserve\, our partnership with Save The Bay is re-invigorated with focus now turning to Hal Brown Park at Creekside. We will work to plant native shrubs and transform the transition zone between the park and Creekside Marsh from a monoculture of non-native Harding grass to a rich\, native ecosystem. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend. Pre-registration is required. To register\, or for more information\, visit savesfbay.org. Meet at Hal Brown Park on Bon Air Rd in Greenbrae. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur\, take exit 450B for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west 1.2 miles. Turn left onto Bon Air Rd and follow 0.3 mile. The park is on the left.
