Tracking and bird language are about getting inside the minds of the animals. Join internationally-certified tracker and 4th generation Sonoma County native Jim Sullivan as we head out onto the land for some “dirt time” using what Nature gives us to practice the ancient art of Tracking. As the day proceeds we’ll construct an ongoing story to describe what we find.

Jim Sullivan is a 4th generation Sonoma county native, lifetime naturalist, with a degree in biology. He graduated from Notre Dame, studied in Vienna, UC Santa Barbara and S F State as well as ongoing studies at SRJC. A long time environmental and social justice activist and an early Sonoma Land Trust board member, he served 4 years in the infantry and was instrumental in launching the natural foods movement. He is a national award winning Plein Air artist and an internationally certified animal tracker.
