Explore approaches to painting spring wildflowers with artist Pamela Glasscock. Using both live flowers and photographs we will look at the botanical characteristics of flowers as we investigate their expressive possibilities. Materials including a variety of watercolor papers for experimentation with different techniques will be provided. All levels of experience are welcome.
Pam’s watercolors of botanical subjects are widely exhibited in contemporary art galleries, museums and botanical institutions; her paintings of Pepperwood’s wildflowers will be on display this Spring at the Dwight Center!
