Join park rangers to help control the spread of invasive weeds at Stafford Lake Park. We will focus on maintenance of habitat restoration and erosion control projects initiated by the PRBO Conservation Science S.T.R.A.W. project (Students and Teachers Restoring a Watershed). Work will take place on flat to moderate terrain and will be appropriate for volunteers of all ages. Please wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Dogs are not permitted at Stafford Lake Park. From Hwy 101 in Novato take the San Marin Dr exit west approximately 4 miles and turn right at Novato Blvd. Stafford Lake is 1 mile ahead on the left. Stafford Lake Park is located at 3549 Novato Blvd. Park entrance fee waived for participants.
