This orientation will take place on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 at the Armstrong Redwoods Visitor Center, located just before the entrance to Armstrong Redwoods SNR in the parking lot. The orientation will begin promptly at 9:00am and will end at Noon.
Cost: Orientations and Trainings are always offered FREE of charge!
Learn to interact and inspire visitors from all over the world about the natural and cultural resources by staffing the Visitor Center (VC) at Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve located just outside the small town of Guerneville, CA. This visitor center is open year round, 7 days a week and sees a high volume of visitors looking for information or purchasing items.
Anyone interested in volunteering for our programs will need to first register through our website: www.stewardsofthecoastandredwoods.org and will also be required to attend one of our General Volunteers in Parks Orientations (March 15th, 2014 is our next session).
Things to bring/remember:
Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods is a non-profit organization that works with all the State Parks in the Russian River and Mendocino Districts. We support education, restoration and protection for our parks.
