Join us for a fantastic Armstrong Tour Guides & Roving Guide Training!! This training is facilitated by staff and volunteer docents and will take place on Saturday, February 15th, 2014 from 10:00am-4:00pm. The location will be the Stewards office in Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve (Guerneville, CA). More information will be provided to registered participants.
Our orientations and trainings are always offered free of charge but pre-registration IS REQUIRED!

Inspire and learn to share fascinating redwood ecology tours and/or activities with adults and school children! Tour Guides (docents) will need to be available on weekdays for school groups. Roving docents greet visitors along the trails on the weekends. Mentoring and resource materials will be provided.
The Art of Interpretation seminar from 1pm-4pm will be offered free of charge if you attend this volunteer training.
Anyone interested in volunteering for our programs will need to first register through our website: www.stewardsofthecoastandredwoods.org and will also be required to attend one of our General Volunteers in Parks Orientations (January 25th, 2014 is our first session and the next will be on March 15th, 2014).

Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods is a non-profit organization that works with all the State Parks in the Russian River and Mendocino Districts. We support education, restoration and protection for our parks.
