Do not miss this amazing seminar, The Art of Interpretation! You will hear from Kristina Stanton of the Environmental Discovery Center and David Berman, Stewards Programs Director. This event will take place on Saturday, February 15th, 2014 from 1:00pm-4:00pm. This wonderful seminar will be held at the Stewards office located in Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve (Guerneville, CA).

Join Stewards’ for a lovely seminar that will connect you with ways to engage with various age groups while leading group tours. Interpreters teach, entertain and provoke to awaken curiosity. Kristina Stanton will talk about and demonstrate the art of effective interpretation. David Berman will focus on interpretive techniques to use with children. Be prepared for an engaging day, valuable for all docents and teachers of all levels.
Anyone interested in volunteering for our programs will need to first register through our website: www.stewardsofthecoastandredwoods.org and will also be required to attend one of our General Volunteers in Parks Orientations (March 15th, 2014 is our next session).
