Sunday: Hike about 11 miles total, including Tilden Park through Wildcat to Kennedy Grove, and after a short shuttle, be part of the first group to hike the spectacular new Bay Area Ridge Trail section built by volunteers, and set to open next year, in Pinole Watershed, and then finish at Fernandez Ranch in Martinez. Shuttle ride available from there back to camp or to BART. Or ride your horse in Tilden and Wildcat Park. $55 hike fee includes 3 meals, camping, and maps. $65 ride fee includes all that and hay for your horse.
