SUMMARY:Tarantula Trek
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a great family outing as we explore an easy trail in search of Mount Diablo’s scary looking but (mostly) harmless big spiders. We’ll also hear the many ways Greenbelt Alliance is working toward a future where every family can live in a neighborhood they are proud to call home. Your guide will be Ken Lavin\, Outings and Volunteer Coordinator for Greenbelt Alliance. Ken has led interpretive outings for school children and adults in Marin County and the East Bay for several years. Directions: From the intersection of Ygnacio Valley Road and Clayton Road in Concord\, drive east on Clayton Road 1 mile. Turn right on Mitchell Canyon Road and drive all the way to the end\, past the quarry\, into the park.
