With spring finally here, a ranger will guide you through the beautiful Tiburon Uplands in the hopes of seeing spring wildflowers such as hounds tongue, milkmaids, Indian warrior and other species. Enjoy the beautiful vistas of the bay, and learn about the colorful history of the Tiburon peninsula. Don’t forget to bring binoculars and a camera. This is a moderately strenuous hike. Due to limited parking at the Uplands turnout we will meet at Paradise Beach Park and carpool to Uplands if necessary. Questions: contact Ranger Christin Lopez at CLopez@marincounty.orgor Sarah Burkhart at SBurkhart@marincounty.org. Meet at the parking lot in Paradise Beach Park in Tiburon (3450 Paradise Dr). DIRECTIONS: from Hwy 101 in Mill Valley, take exit 447 for Tiburon Blvd (Hwy 131) east 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Trestle Glen Blvd, right onto Paradise Dr, and follow for 1.5 miles. The park is on the left. Park entrance is free.
