Join rangers for a leisurely Thanksgiving hike around Deer Island. Come learn interesting facts about the non-native turkeys that are common in Marin: How they came to be here and what impact they have on the local ecosystem. We’ll also talk about the Coast Miwok, the native plants and animals used by them, and how Thanksgiving would be different if pilgrims had landed in Marin. All ages and abilities are welcome.
