Walkers 50+: Explore for native wildflowers and grasses in the El Cerrito Hillside Natural Area, see spectacular views, and learn about exciting restoration work. Depending on the group, this walk may be fairly challenging, with steep ups and downs. Wear shoes with good traction; bring sticks if you use them. Susan Schwartz leads.
To get there, from Moeser turn north onto King or Shevlin Drive. Where King and Shevlin Drive meet, turn west, downhill, onto short, dead-end King Court. The walk starts at the end of King Court.
The walk is free, but please RSVP to co-sponsor Albany Senior Center, 846 Masonic, 510 524 9122.
