Discover the tools that insects and arachnids carry with them. Docents Debbi Brusco, Jack Owicki, and Kathryn Strachota will help you find buggy treasures and see them up close, as you leisurely explore 2 to 3 miles of various habitats on the Ridge Trail and other trails. This hike is geared towards adults, but attentive kids 10 years and older are welcome.

Meet at the Skyline Ridge Preserve parking lot on Skyline Boulevard located one mile south of the Page Mill/Alpine Road and Skyline Blvd. intersection. After entering the preserve, turn right and go to the farthest parking lot. Those traveling from I-280 on Page Mill Rd. should allow approximately 45 minutes travel time.
