This fun-filled, dynamic event offers a great way to get active while giving to a wonderful park, and giving to yourself! This is a Healthy Parks, Healthy People event. We’ll begin with service projects that will focus on beach clean-up, landscape maintenance, and habitat restoration. At noon we’ll switch gears and enjoy a 45 minute yoga class on a flat grassy area beside the bay. The class will be led by professional yoga teacher Daniel Rauck and will be suitable for all ages and ability levels. A free, healthy lunch will be provided at 1pm. All skill levels are welcome and no previous experience is necessary. All ages are welcome; anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a supervising adult. Dress in layers you can get dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Snacks and extra water will be provided. No pets (except service animals) are allowed at this park. In the event of heavy rain and/or high winds call (415) 763-2977 to find out about event status. In the event of cancellation, program will be rescheduled. Questions: Contact Volunteer Coordinator Kirk Schroeder at KSchroeder@marincounty.org or (415) 763-2977. Park entrance fee is waived for participants.
