Imagine the thrill of paddling your kayak in the open ocean and landing a 32-pound California halibut from your boat...
Join Ocean Kayak Pro-angler Allen Bushnell for a PowerPoint presentation on the basics of kayak fishing the Monterey Bay region’s North Coast. Allen will show you how to rig your boat for fishing, and will discuss navigation, safety, and how to read conditions (weather, tides, currents, and swell). Come find out tips on great places to launch, as well as techniques for pursuing different species, such as rockfish/lingcod, halibut, salmon, and striped bass.
