Local Agricultural Workgroup Meeting and Barbeque

The Local Workgroup Meeting provides a forum for local farmers and ranchers, public agency representatives, and other partners to discuss critical natural resource issues and priorities for Alameda County. A free barbecue precedes the meeting.

The Alameda County Conservation Partnership is convening a Local Work Group meeting for the fiscal year 2009 NRCS Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP), a Farm Bill program that provides funding for conservation projects on agricultural lands. The purpose of the meeting is to guide NRCS in implementing local conservation programs in Alameda County.

The Local Workgroup Group meeting begins at 6 p.m. A free BBQ dinner will be provided at 5 p.m.
