Mount Sutro Stewards Volunteer Day

Join One Brick and Mount Sutro Stewards for trail and habitat work.

Trail work: This month we will continue the new trail improvements that we began in April. The Mount Sutro Stewards Trail Crew will continue work on the upper North Ridge trail. We begin rerouting the next steep section of the North Ridge trail last month to improve safety during wet conditions. Be prepared for some good physical activity during this effort. We will provide the tools, training, gloves and supervision.

Habitat Work: The Mount Sutro Stewards Habitat Crew will work in Rotary Meadow on the summit and along the Mystery Trail. There will be habitat activities for everyone.

We are meeting at the Woods Building parking lot, located at 100 Medical Center Way. This lot is about half way up the hill from Parnassus Avenue. Parking is available for volunteers only during scheduled activities

Refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of our activities.
