Paddle & Restoration at Bair Island

Thursday, June 12, 2008
8:00 AM to 1:30 PM

Join Save The Bay for a scenic kayak trip to the Marin Islands or a canoe trip to Bair Island. Once on these remote islands volunteers are needed to help us restore the islands' native vegetation by removing non-native plants, collecting native plant seeds and through early spring, planting native plants into the ground. All canoe and restoration equipment is provided, minimum age 10. RSVP required, space is limited.

Discover the Bay and help to restore it all in one trip! These outings are unique opportunities that combine a scenic paddle with valuable restoration work at protected island sites that are inaccessible and off limits to the general public.
