The AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Project (WSP) is a community-based watershed restoration program which places 44 members throughout Northern California from San Francisco to the Oregon border.  WSP's mission is to conserve, restore, and sustain anadramous watersheds for future generations by linking education with high quality scientific practices. A special project of the California Conservation Corps, WSP is sponsored by the California Service Corps and administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service.
