An Introduction to the Project
Restoration of 15,100 acres of south San Francisco Bay salt ponds to wetlands habitats has begun! Join us at the Refuge's Education Center in Alviso for an overview of this incredible project. Program will begin indoors but will move outside to a view of a salt pond. There we can look for wildlife and continue discussing the Restoration Project and its goals. Access to salt pond is via an easy .25-mile boardwalk trail. Approximately 1 hour. All are welcome! Please call (408) 262-5513 for directions
