Forays, classes, presentations, and mushroom cuisine at the 11th annual SOMA Wild Mushroom Camp.

Everyone is invited to SOMA Wild Mushroom Camp, a benefit for our Scholarship fund, featuring speaker Gary Lincoff. The weekend will be full of mushroom forays, speaker presentations, gourmet mushroom cuisine, and classes & workshops on mushroom identification, cooking, dyeing, paper-making, medicine making, photography, cultivation, and more. The spacious, modern camp buildings are set amongst 225 acres of oak, madrone, tan oak, redwood, and Douglas-fir. The shared cabins are heated, and are bright, clean, and airy, with hardwood floors and stylish bunks.

Fees including classes, lodging, meals and activities. Special early bird discount until November 30, 2008 - $245 for full weekend, on-site lodging. Camp is held at the CYO retreat Center, 2136 Bohemian Hwy, Occidental, CA, in Sonoma County.
