Sun, Wind, and Water Day
Saturday, July 19, 2008
10:00 AM
to
2:00 PM
Catch some rays, shoot the breeze, and make a splash at the Randall Museum's annual "Sun, Wind, & Water Day!"
Kids and their families are invited to join in the fun with hands-on experiments, games, and art activities exploring what these three important resources do for us and for the earth. Visitors can make sun wheels, wind wheels, water wheels, and paddleboats. Everyone can test their patience at cooking solar s¹mores and check for sunspots if the sun is shining! And no one should miss a chance to try the water cycle journey or to win prizes in the water balloon-tossing contest. This event is co-sponsored by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission and the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration.
Ages: All ages; children must be accompanied by an adult.
