Sausal Creek-habitat restoration

In conjunction with Friends of Sausal Creek, join other volunteers for a monthly workday in Beaconsfield Canyon in Oakland.
Pull invasive plants, plant natives, maintain trails and create habitat. Event can accommodate up to 15 volunteers at once, prefer 16 years or older. Tools provided, no experience necessary, plant experts on hand. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes or boots. Closest address is 2639 Beaconsfield Place, Oakland. Walk in on the dirt road. Note: This event repeats the last Saturday of each month. It's best to check with the organizer to make sure any particular workday is going ahead as planned.
