Founded in 1972, Environmental Volunteers’ mission is to inspireenvironmental stewardship through hands-on science programs inclassrooms and in nature. Every year, 200 trained volunteersdeliver 500 hands-on science programs to more than 10,000elementary school students at 60 schools in Santa Clara andSan Mateo counties.
