Filoli Gardens
Located thirty miles south of San Francisco on the eastern slope of the Coast Range, Filoli is recognized as one of the finest remaining country estates of the early twentieth century. The 654-acre property includes a 36,000 square-foot mansion and 16 acres of European inspired gardens. Originally established as a private residence in 1917, Filoli opened to the public in 1976 as a property of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
