Bordering the eastern edge of Santa Rosa, Annadel has hiking, mountain biking, and horsebackriding, and wildflowers grace its hills abundantly from early spring to early summer.
This 5,000 acre park has 35 miles of trails over rolling hills, intermittent streams, meadows, redwood groves, and oak woodlands, All but one trail are multi-use. Cyclists adore the many challenging singletrack trails here, and anglers can try their luck fishing for black bass and bluegill at Lake Ilsanjo.
The Bay Area Ridge Trail passes through Annadel, and connects the park to neighboring Spring Lake Regional Park, which is managed by Sonoma County.
