Situated in the heart of San Francisco, Glen Canyon offers a glimpse at the varied habitats present before development occurred throughout the city.
Glen Canyon Park contains one of the few stretches of historic free-flowing Islais Creek. Good for a pleasant stroll or outing with the dog, the park also hosts a community center, sports fields, children’s camp, and tennis courts.
NOTE: This park contains sensitive wildlife habitat and dogs must be on-leash here. The reality is many people let their dogs run here (as shown in our Flickr photo feed as of Aug 31, 2012), but it is against the law.
