This quiet and secluded beach is a great place to check out the California coast, tide pools, and a picturesque lighthouse–or perhaps go surf fishing.  Use the stairs from a nearby restaurant to get to the beach safely (don’t climb down the cliff!) Montara State Beach includes and is connected to Montara Mountain, also called McNee Ranch.
