3511 acre Park managed by: California Department of Parks and Recreation
The best bird’s eye view of the wine country can be found in this park at the top of the five-mile trail up Mount St. Helena.
This park, named for the author of Treasure Island who spent his honeymoon here, covers 3,500 acres. 4,300-foot Mount St. Helena is among our region’s tallest peaks and perhaps the tallest accessible by trail. The park also includes an eastern addition with access to Table Rock and the Palisades, excellent for spring flowers.
