At this Park
1799 acre Park managed by: Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District
This is a great spring wildflower destination, or come on clear fall days for great views from the ridge of San Francisco Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountains.
In the spring, you can see poppies, lupine, gumweed, mules ears, farewell-to-spring, brodiaea and more. The steep forested canyons host a variety of wildlife.
There are eight miles of trails withing the preserve, including a portion of the Bay Ridge Trail, and connectors are available to the adjoining Coal Creek and Skyline Ridge preserves for longer outings.
