Joseph D. Grant Park
This 9,560-acre park includes some of Santa Clara County's finest open space resources. The landscape is characteristic of the east foothills of the Santa Clara Valley, with majestic oak trees and grasslands that support showy wildflower displays in the spring. Hikers and equestrians have access to an extensive 52-mile trail system, and mountain bikes are permitted on nearly half of the park's trails. Other amenities include shaded picnic areas, 40 reservable family campsites with hot showers, and warm water fishing in the park's lake and ponds.
