KeeKee goes home for the holidays

A juvenile California sea lion, KeeKee, went home to the ocean on Christmas Eve at Rodeo Beach in the Marin Headlands. When KeeKee was found on Nov. 5 near Cannery Row in Monterey Bay, he was lethargic and malnourished with bite marks on his back. The Marine Mammal Center nursed him back to heath on a diet of six pounds of herring a day.
