Vicky Vásquez is a science communicator and a graduate student at the Pacific Shark Research Center of Moss Landing Marine Labs. Recent highlights of her research include the discovery of a deep-water shark species, the Ninja Lanternshark, and tagging the first goblin shark for science. Vicky has made several televised appearances including episodes of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week. Currently, Vicky serves as co-host on the podcast, Ocean Science Radio, and can be found around the Bay Area giving lectures, performing emcee duties, or educating young minds.
