Join us for Coastal Cleanup Day at Cooley Landing!
Coastal Cleanup Day brings communities together throughout the state to clean California’s beaches, lakes, and watersheds. Join us as we remove trash and recyclables from our local watershed to celebrate and enhance our beautiful waterways.
Waivers/Registration: All participants must register & approve the online waiver through this Eventbrite page. Youth under 18 must have their legal guardian approve the waiver on their behalf. Volunteers under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Parking: Limited parking is available at the preserve
Where: Cooley Landing Education Center, 2100 Bay Road, East Palo Alto
Prepare for Working Outdoors:
Long pants, long sleeves
Sturdy close-toed shoes that can get dirty
Hat/sunscreen or rain gear/boots
Exposure to sun, sharp objects, and hazardous materials is possible

Grassroots Ecology encourages people from all identities and backgrounds to participate in our programs. Many of our programs are outdoors and involve moving and working in a variety of landscapes. If you have accessibility concerns (i.e., allergies, limited mobility, learning differences), our projects are flexible and we are happy to work with you.
