About this Event
The Marin Headlands and Tennessee Valley share an amazing cultural and natural history. Hear tales of a disastrous shipwreck, an iconic lighthouse, a WWII gun battery transformed into a “newtist” colony, and an ill-fated housing development that helped spawn modern day environmentalism. Along the way, we will view Franciscan rocks, wildflowers, and even catch a glimpse of that most elusive bird, the Oozlefinch (no binoculars necessary).
