It’s (almost) summertime and the “living is easy”— the perfect time for an evening hike on Mount Diablo!

About this event

Our virtual soiree begins at Coulter Pond, where we’ll look for toads and frogs. Then, as the sun sets, we’ll hike up Mitchell Canyon to check out the park’s evening shift, including poor-wills, bats, and owls.

About the Presenter

Liz Watson is a special education teacher for Contra Costa County. She currently teaches at Liberty High School in Brentwood. Liz holds a California naturalist certification from UC Davis extension and volunteers at the Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital in Walnut Creek
