Join California Naturalist Marie Kay in this accessible wildflower outing at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Flowers are amazing in their variety of shapes…why is there so much variance? Bring a hand lens if you have one. We will meet at the White Barn and stroll our way through the Creekside Nature trail and back. There will be multiple stopping points along the way with benches and chairs, but we will also stop to watch and listen as the opportunity arises.
This walk is accessible for persons using wheelchairs or those with limited mobility. Meet at the White Barn parking lot. Tickets are $5, plus parking. We invite you to bring a hand lens and wildflower guides if you have them, as well as water and a snack, or if desired, a picnic for afterwards.
