All About Oaks

October 23, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

| Free

Oaks and their acorns are vitally important to a broad spectrum of animals (including humans). You’ll discuss the role of these trees in local ecosystems as you compare several oak species and a few interesting hybrids. This walk is only a couple of miles long but includes a slow climb to the ridge and a fairly steep downhill section.

Distance: 1.5 miles. Elevation change: 250′.
