Almaden Quicksilver Conservation Hike

Join the newly rebooted 20’s and 30’s Group for their first official hike! We will be hiking through beautiful and historic Almaden Quicksilver Park, the oldest and most productive mercury mine in the United States. We will hike through the woodlands and chaparral with stops at the Powder House, April Tunnel, Spanish Town and English Camp. We will have a picnic lunch at the Bull Run picnic site.

Level: Moderate(2B: 6 miles, 1200 ft elev gain)

Cost: Free to all. Sierra Club membership is encouraged.

Bring: Lunch, water, hat, sunglasses, sunblock, appropriate footwear

Additional Directions: 6 miles with total 1200 ft elevation gain
