The 748-acre Martin Luther King Regional Shoreline features multi-use trails, prime habitat for endangered species, picnic and barbecue sites, and countless recreational opportunities—but right now, this amazing regional resource is not always safely accessible to bicyclists and transit riders. We’ll explore this beautiful setting during September transit month and talk about ways we can expand safe access to the shoreline via bicycle and transit.
This is a fairly easy 10-mile roundtrip ride with only 40 feet of elevation change.
