Bay Nature Hike: Wildflowers on the Sunol Ridge Trail

Venture into newly opened Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park and be wowed by wildflowers!

Join East Bay Regional Park District (EBRPD) naturalist Ashley Houts and Bay Nature development manager Barbara Butkus. This two-mile round-trip hike is a steep yet rewarding walk that promises gorgeous views and an ascent through several habitats. Niles Canyon Overlook boasts gorgeous 360-degree views of the East Bay. The trail was featured in Michael Heine’s article “Wildflower Lands Now Open in the East Bay Hills” in Bay Nature’s Spring 2023 issue.
