Beth Rattner, Executive Director, Biomimicry Institute
Beth Rattner has focused on nature-inspired environmentally- beneficial design and disruptive ideas since 2001. In her talk, Rattner will address the current environmental context for biomimicry, recent trends and applications of biomimetic design, opportunities and challenges related to climate change, and exciting catalysts for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Mikhail Davis, Director of Restorative Enterprise, Interface
Mikhail Davis has 20 years of experience in corporate sustainability. He currently works on Interface’s groundbreaking and disruptive Climate Take Back initiative which is focused on transforming the industrial system to leave a positive legacy and reverse global warming. Davis will address how Interface, a multi-national corporation and biomimicry leader, is approaching the application of biomimetic design to products and systems to meet the challenges of climate change head on.
