Join Teresa and Miles Tuffli (I’m Birding Right Now) for a 2-hour meander through the redwood forest floor, where we’ll listen closely and soak up Spring’s morning birdsong. Whether you’re eager to learn how to identify the birds vocalizing, or you’re simply interested in taking in nature’s wonderful soundscape, this walk is for you!
Miles and Teresa will help point out, identify, and discuss the songs and calls of the birds who make Armstrong Redwoods their home.
We will meet at the Armstrong Redwoods Visitor Center, and walk slowly and quietly around the forest floor trails, stopping frequently to listen.
If you can, bring binoculars, a small pad and pen and your camera. Please wear layered clothing, since mornings in Armstrong Redwoods are often quite cool.
