Join long-time guide, author, and scientist Rebecca Lawton for a literary bird walk on Oona-pa’is (Sonoma Mountain). The group (up to 15) will stroll to the site of Jack London’s lake (and beyond, as time allows), looking for wild birds and musing on writing on and about the mountain before, during, and after Jack London’s time. This will be a slow-paced walk and recommended for ages 12 and above. The distance covered will be based on the bird life encountered but expect one to three miles round trip.
Participants should wear sturdy shoes and dress in layers. Bring water, optional snacks, and hiking poles. Binoculars are highly recommended.

Tickets are $10 per person, plus $10 per vehicle park entry fee.
