California Coastal Cleanup Day: Rodeo Creek

The Contra Costa Resource Conservation District (CCRCD) is hosting several cleanups throughout Contra Costa County in September. Come join in at a site near you!

California Coastal Cleanup is part of the International Coastal Cleanup, organized by the Ocean Conservancy. It is the largest volunteer event in the US and International Coastal Cleanup Day is the largest volunteer event on the planet! From the California Coastal Commission: “This event brings awareness to the marine litter problem and provides a community event for direct involvement. Join the movement for an environment where people and ecosystems can survive and thrive. Volunteer alongside your families, friends, coworkers, scout troops, school groups, and service clubs.”
