On Saturday, April 16, 2016, California State Parks Foundation (CSPF) will host its 18th Annual Earth Day Restoration and Cleanup presented by Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) at 27 state parks across California. More than 3,000 volunteers are needed to help with environmental improvement projects statewide. In the Bay Area, volunteers are sought at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen, Sonoma Coast State Park in Jenner and Benicia State Recreation Area in Benicia.
For more details and to sign up, please visit calparks.org/earthday or call 1-888-98-PARKS. Space is limited, so advance registration is required. Parking fees are waived for Earth Day volunteers.
Coffee and pastries start the day off right and a light lunch will help fuel all volunteers.
