Cascade Canyon Fire Hazard Reduction

Cascade Canyon Preserve. Meet at Doc Edgar Park on Cascade Dr in Fairfax.

Join us, Marin Conservation League Invasive Plant Subcommittee, and Cascade Canyon Firewise Group to remove invasive French broom near the entrance of Cascade Canyon Preserve. There is limited parking at the end of Cascade Drive so we’ll be providing a shuttle and carpooling from Doc Edgar Park. If program is rained out it will be rescheduled for the following Saturday, 3/17. All skill levels are welcome and no previous experience is necessary.

It is possible for volunteers as young as 5 years old to join if teamed with a parent or guardian. Dress in layers you can get dirty, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water. Please bring gloves if you have them.
In the event of heavy rain and/or high winds call (415) 473-3778 to find out about event status. In the event of cancellation, program will be rescheduled. RSVP’s are appreciated but not required.

DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Larkspur, take the exit for Sir Francis Drake Blvd west to Fairfax 5.3 miles. Turn left onto Pacheco Ave, turn right onto Broadway and make first left onto Bolinas Rd 0.4 miles, slight right onto Cascade, the park is on your right.
