City Nature Challenge BioBlitz

Saturday, April 29 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Discover the wonders of Little Uvas Open Space Preserve and join the annual City Nature Challenge!

This is an opportunity to explore the diversity of life in the preserve, from fungi, insects, and plants to reptiles, mammals, birds, and more.
The event is designed to be a slow-paced, deep exploration of Little Uvas. You’ll break up into smaller groups and explore different parts of the preserve, traveling no more than 1-2 miles over terrain that includes some gentle hills. This will give you plenty of time to fully appreciate the biodiversity of the preserve. Be sure to bring plenty of water and dress in layers.
Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or just starting out, this event is perfect for anyone interested in exploring the natural world. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with nature and learn from your fellow participants!
