Join Wholly H2O and EBMUD for a fun-filled exploration of Lake Chabot as part of the Cal Academy of Science’s City Nature Challenge 2023!

Get ready to have tons of fun documenting local flora and fauna by observing and capturing what is living at Lake Chabot. Check out iNaturalist to see what other species our community has documented at Lake Chabot.

A bioblitz is an event that focuses on finding and identifying as many species as possible in a specific area over a short period of time. This event is part of the City Nature Challenge, an annual friendly competition sponsored by the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco and the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County to log the most observations of local flora and fauna.
